Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains yet convenient to US Route 29, Rock Hill Farm is a nearly 300-acre working cattle farm established in 1806.  The mile-long driveway affords your guests a true escape into a world surrounded by nature and tranquility.  Make the venue space yours for the weekend as you enjoy the cottage, bridal suite, two furnished suites for special guests, and various venue spaces that ultimately become a back drop for the dramatic views and magical moments that surround you. Time stands still at Rock Hill—just the sunrise and the sunset—so don’t watch your clock—enjoy the fire pit all evening as you celebrate the gifts of life - family, friendship and love.

Ceremony Locations

The Pergola

Our signature ceremony site features a classic white four-post pergola overlooking the scenic countryside. Framed by lush green grass and panoramic hilltop views, it's a timeless place to say "I do."

The Tree

Exchange your vows beneath a magnificent old tree, surrounded by sweeping green space and the natural beauty of the farm. A timeless, romantic setting for an unforgettable ceremony.

The Historic Barn

Built in 1806, the Old Historic Barn is full of timeless character and rustic charm. Home to our built-in bar, it's the perfect setting for cocktail hour and transforms into a beautiful indoor ceremony space when the weather calls for a rain plan.

The Pavilion

The open-air pavilion offers the perfect setting for cocktail hour, giving guests a covered place to mingle while still enjoying the beauty of the farm. It can also accommodate up to 130 guests as a secondary ceremony rain plan.

Cocktail Hour

Cocktail hour flows seamlessly between the charm of the Old Barn and the open-air Pavilion, complete with a built-in bar and plenty of space for guests to sip, mingle, and enjoy the farm.

Reception

With windows overlooking the beautiful pastures, the climate-controlled reception space can comfortably seat up to 150 guests with plenty of room for dinner and dancing. The space also includes a warming kitchen for your caterer and a built-in bar, making it the perfect place to celebrate the night away.

    Golden hour at the top of the hill is something special. Ask your coordinator to sneak you away at just the right time for some of the best light and views on the property.
